Tax Collection Procedures

School taxes for the fiscal year 2011-12 may be paid to the tax teller at NBT Bank, P.O. Box 688, 271 Main St., Schoharie, New York 12157, between the hours of 9 a.m. and 2 p.m. on Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays. They may also be mailed directly to the bank.

Taxes may be paid without penalty from September 15 through November 7, 2011. A two per cent (2%) penalty fee will be added for the period November 8 through November 15, 2011, after which date the school tax collection period shall have ended.

The tax rate per $1,000 of equalized full valuation for school tax levy purposes for each town and village within the town is as follows:
